Biking and TV in Sunriver

This photo was taken in August 2008 in Sunriver. Madelyn is 18 months old, asleep in the trailer.

I did not even mean to re-create that picture, but here is one I took July 2013 in Sunriver. August is 11 months old in the trailer and Madelyn is 6.5 on her bike in the background! I mean even Gary's position and my bike sitting behind is nearly the same - all a coincidence. 

August loves riding in a stroller or bike trailer. Just keep moving and he's a happy boy!

The front door of the house is open because someone (that would be me) did not even think to check if a rental house in the desert would feature air conditioning as an amenity. I mean really. So we were pretty uncomfortable on these 90-degree days!

Boysenberries

We bring the Babee Tenda when we travel, so here's August in Sunriver diving into a pile of boysenberries (thanks Grandma Bonnie for sharing all the goodies they get as Sunday Market vendors!)

It's such a mess, but so yummy!

Father's Day

Our son loves to be upside-down, so this definitely looks like a good idea, right?

 

This was one of the most lovely days we've experienced at the coast in a long time!

August's newest trick is to pull himself up...

Before leaving we let August play with the castles.

 

It didn't take long for him to demolish all of our hard work!

Rose Festival

Madelyn had tons of fun at the festival, but August mostly observed from his sweet ride.

He did fall asleep for a while, so that was exciting for us!

He looks like he's had enough of watching Madelyn do all the fun stuff!

But after she and Mom did this super-fun ride, Dad gave Auzzi a little hang gliding experience of his own:
